I did not have any troubles obtaining, downloading, installing OR using this software.
I will say though: for the pre-facelift E39 (US-spec), you still need to use a jumper for the underhood round diagnostic port... without this installed the software was unable to access the canbus/modules/ecu. I made my own from a junkyard diagnostic port cover/plug (look it up, it's pretty common). *This could be made a LOT clearer on the sales site but I was already aware of it so it wasn't a problem. This enabled me to replace the LCM (Light Control Module) to get my Low-Cluster (99 & 00 base model 528i) speedo/tach back lighting to work again, which required me to set the original car's mileage in the LCM which in turn caused the odometer tamper-dot to extinguish. THANK YOU!

The software worked on my Win 11 Pro laptop as well as an old XP laptop I had laying around. Was able to connect to my BMW and see all the info, fault codes, etc.
Bought an old laptop with Windows 7 just for this. The install of drivers and getting the software open was really easy and straight forward.

It worked perfectly the first time I used it, instructions were clear and if you follow all the steps, it works perfect the first time. A must-have tool for an E46 owner!
I don't know why I waisted time with ISTA, this system is far superior.
Great product. The installation of the driver for the cable can be a little confusing but I've it works it is great.
To be honest before purchasing I had some doubts. The driver installation is pretty easy for someone who can follow instructions step by step however I can see an issue where someone can mess it up. I would still advise to get one or more videos or document with screenshots to insure its full proof or diver signing to be resolved.
At this point thats the only feedback on improvements. The functionality... Great! Easy(Compared to ncsexpert), quick to read and write and best of all it works. I cannot recommend it more. I would normally stay away from E39 or E53 however coding here was best I have worked with. I cannot recommend it enough.

This is a great value. The program is easy to navigate even for a guy like me that is not good with computers. I was also able to get amazing customer service and support for getting it set up on my computer. I wish I could give more than 5 stars
