Comes included with the software and USB cable to connect from the device to the computer. No need to purchase the software as well. Works with Windows 7, 8, Vista, 10 and 11. Remote support is included as well to help get things set up. 

If your car has OBD1 under the hood you will need the 20 pin to 16 pin OBD1 Adapter.

Perfect tool for coding

It worked perfectly the first time I used it, instructions were clear and if you follow all the steps, it works perfect the first time. A must-have tool for an E46 owner!

Not What I Needed for E39 BMW

The descriptions for the scanner suggest I could disable all exterior bulb checks. However, this describes what can be done on an E46. It did not work on the E39.

Great product. The installation of the driver for the cable can be a little confusing but I've it works it is great.

To be honest before purchasing I had some doubts. The driver installation is pretty easy for someone who can follow instructions step by step however I can see an issue where someone can mess it up. I would still advise to get one or more videos or document with screenshots to insure its full proof or diver signing to be resolved.
At this point thats the only feedback on improvements. The functionality... Great! Easy(Compared to ncsexpert), quick to read and write and best of all it works. I cannot recommend it more. I would normally stay away from E39 or E53 however coding here was best I have worked with. I cannot recommend it enough.
